Okay. I have some things that I seriously need to say regarding a few comments I’ve seen.
No more new members. It ruins After School.
As I recall, Uie’sactingtalent has proved the group is something more than just dance. Raina’s power voice made fans stunned and eventually lead to After School winning an award. Nana’s undeniable beauty has pulled in viewer after viewer just to look at her face, increasing the fandom enormously. Lizzy’s bright personality has pushed After School into the light of the variety world like never before. Eyoung’s determination has wowed people constantly, proving that the life of a school girl requires a large amount of diligence. Earning them respect as a whole.
After School is not sexy anymore. They need to go back to their “Ah” Days.
Really? Are you saying that a sophisticated and classy woman is not sexy? To be sexy they must be rubbing their legs and doing “pussycat doll” level choreography. After School is sexy because After School can look good no matter what concept they are given.
You see in most fandoms, like KARA, or SNSD, or Dal Shabet, where the fans are constantly complaining about getting the same concept over and over again. Yet, we are so lucky! We are the fans of a group that will never repeat itself! Does no one understand how amazingly rare a quality like that is in Kpop?
The graduation system sucks
You suck.
You suck because you’re still complaining about the same damn thing. It’s been three years. The system is going nowhere. Unfortunately you have no choice but to accept it or stop following the group.
Eyoung hasn’t been promoted yet there can’t be a new member already! She needs a subunit
But…. when Lizzy debuted she didn’t even have a line to herself. And, believe it or not, Nana used to also stand in the back.
If Eyoung got her own subgroup it would only be able to consist of herself and Juyeon because every other member is apparently “overrated” and “overly promoted.” What kind of quality song could be produced with those two only?
But, they both have soft low voices. Neither of them would be capable of rapping or holding a long powerful note. To make a success out of such a subgroup Raina would need to be added in order to balance out the vocals. And then, to make sure those three’s shyness didn’t ruin their stage presence, energy would need to be added in, they would need Lizzy for that.
But wait… Eyoung+Juyeon+Raina+Lizzy= ALREADY A SUB UNIT.
I think “___” is next to go now that there’s a new girl
”___’ should be the next to go
Is this really necessary? Why is it so impossible for us to just welcome the new girl with a happy smile on our faces?
No member deserves to leave! How are we supposed to appreciate the good that this group brings to the industry if we only worry about the negatives? One day, all nine of these girls will be gone. It’s just the way it works.
This is all a tactic, and a smart one at that, created by Pledis! Think for a moment! What good is a girl group if one day it will be over? Eventually, SNSD has to retire, T ARA will go on to their own thing, KARA will expand and start their lives. BUT, when all those big names are gone because all their members are in their thirties, guess what group will be dominating?
There was a hunter in the woods, who, after a long day hunting, was in the middle of an immense forest. It was getting dark, and having lost his bearings, he decided to head in one direction until he was clear of the increasingly oppressive foliage. After what seemed like hours, he came across a cabin in a small clearing. Realizing how dark it had grown, he decided to see if he could stay there for the night. He approached, and found the door ajar. Nobody was inside. The hunter flopped down on the single bed, deciding to explain himself to the owner in the morning.
As he looked around the inside of the cabin, he was surprised to see the walls adorned by several portraits, all painted in incredible detail. Without exception, they appeared to be staring down at him, their features twisted into looks of hatred and malice. Staring back, he grew increasingly uncomfortable. Making a concerted effort to ignore the many hateful faces, he turned to face the wall, and exhausted, he fell into a restless sleep.
The next morning, the hunter awoke — he turned, blinking in unexpected sunlight. Looking up, he discovered that the cabin had no portraits, only windows.
